General Inspectorate of Social Security (IGSS)

In compliance with Article 423.4 of the social security law, the General Inspectorate of Social Security (IGSS) conducts analyses and studies to assess and design social protection schemes, and therefore collects, centralizes, processes, and manages the data accessible to the IGSS within the scope of prevailing legal and regulatory frameworks, while pseudonymizing this information for these purposes. While complying with both the Data Governance Act and the General Data Protection Regulation, IGSS provides labour and social protection administrative data, including social assistance and health insurance data, for secondary usage with the assistance of LNDS for operational and helpdesk activities.
