The Environment Agency (AEV)

The Environment Agency, Administration de l’Environnement (AEV) aims ensure a high level of environmental protection and quality of life for the human being in its environment. The AEV provides support for political decision-making, ensures the application of environmental law, and supervises and assesses the state of the environment, promoting ecological practices and encouraging innovation for the environment.

Together with the Nature Conservation Agency as well as the Water Management Agency, they put the environmental policy of Luxembourg’s Government into practice.
