Sensitive data can only be reused in a controlled way, following formal access request procedures. For data users, most request procedures are difficult to navigate and complete. For data providers, request handling is resource-intensive and tedious.

The Data Access Request and Review service streamlines data access end-to-end for all parties involved. On the one hand, we optimise data user’s access requests by assisting them fulfil access application forms and suggest improvements on project proposals with the potential, the technical and organisational measures that can be incorporated to improve data privacy and security.

On the other hand we consult data providers in establishing in-house capacity to manage access request. Depending on the data provider’s needs, this may include defining and documenting the request review process, implementing the process in appropriate tool and solutions for the management of granted accesses as permit records.
